A Year with Geese

Late last spring, we got two geese. Though harder to raise than I expected, I am glad we did.

When we first got into fowl farming, we started with ducks. While chickens are the more common choice, ducks produce particularly tasty eggs, they are great at fertilizing the soil they forage on, and, perhaps most importantly, they’re so gosh darn cute.
