Consolidating Our Discord Servers
Having the smol farm community split between several servers simply does not make sense.
We released a handful of different NFT projects throughout 2022, and our typical approach each time was to create a new Discord server for each project. The intent was to enable each server to develop a flavor and character of its own — the vibe of the Dastardly Ducks is, after all, quite a bit different than that of the Wandering Witches.
However, this splits the community and our efforts in a way that ultimately did more harm than good. To rectify this, we have decided to make the one smol farm server to rule them all — and without using any of Sauron’s magic. This server includes channels for holders of NFTs, enabling smaller sub-communities to flourish within the broader smol farm server.
As we build more within these worlds, we will once again provide specialized experiences for them. For instance, our first gaming release will be the previously announced Dastardly Eggsweeper. However, adding a lot to the bloated list of servers that many of us have on Discord did not provide compelling, unique experiences. It merely atomized those of you who enjoy what we create and build.
The new server is already up and ready for you to join! The old servers will stick around for a little while longer. Soon, we will be making updates and refinements to our existing NFT project sites, which will include replace their specific Discord links to the general smol farm server.
